To start a LeveragePoint value model, you must be on the Marketing User Home Page.
Use the "Create New" button to start a new basic model. Note that your company configuration may have an option to create a multi-year model. To create a multi-year model, click on the arrow next to the "Create New" button.

The first tab, labeled "1. Start", is the default starting location when either a new model is created or when an existing model is opened in value modeling.
After a model has been created, it must be saved in order for it to be committed to the LeveragePoint database and accessed at a later time. The first time a model is saved, a dialog box will appear requiring a model name. LeveragePoint best practices suggests that value models be given names descriptive enough that they can be easily found later.
To further aid in model search, appropriate labels can be selected that will sort models into corresponding buckets. However, this is not required to save a model. Consult your LeveragePoint administrator if you have questions on whether you should add labels to your model.
