Enter the name of the new variable. Note: Each variable must have a unique name within a library.
Most variables are designated with the type Basic to distinguish them from Conversion Factors. Though you may make some changes to Conversion Factors here, they may only be created within Units of Measure on the Units tab.
Select from one of three data types: Currency, Percent, or Count.
Click Convert to Formula to provide a calculation for the variable.
If available, check one or more relevant labels to enable users to find this variable more easily.
Click Next to preview the new variable.
If no conflict exists, click Finish to save the new variable. If a conflict does exist, either click Prev to edit this variable; click Finish to override the original; or click Cancel.
