Merge Value Driver
Indicated in italics is the name of the value driver to be merged, which will remain the name of the resulting, merged value driver.
Select one additional value driver from the list to be merged with this one. The name of each of the two original value drivers will become the names of subformulas within the resulting, merged value driver.
Notice that the name of the newly merged value driver and the first subformula within it will have the same name. But as this is not allowed, one will be appended with a number at the end of its name to distinguish the two. As a best practice, be sure to edit the name of one or both to more accurately and specifically distinguish the two.
If you are in a Merged model,* the name of the offering component associated with each value driver will be prepended at the beginning of the name of the subformulas within the newly merged value driver.
When merging a positive value driver, only other positive value drivers from this model will be displayed in the list. Likewise, when merging a negative value driver, only other negative value drivers will be available to be merged.
* To create a Merged model, use the Model Type option in the More menu, if available. If it is not available, but you think it would be useful, please contact techsupport@leveragepoint.com.
