A LeveragePoint sales user can change the default value of Variables within a Value Proposition in a variety of ways. Below are common examples. Note that the look and location of these variable fields vary by template.

Key Variable fields
See red outline below of four Key Variable fields. To change the data, simply click on the field and input new value. Sometimes a Key Variable field will be a Choice Variable where you select from multiple choice in a drop-down list. If you click to the right of the data you have the option to viewing Variable notes. Clicking notes opens a new dialog box.
Value Driver page
See red outline below of a Variable displayed on a Value Driver. To change the data, simply click on the field and input new value. Sometimes a Variable will be a Choice Variable where you select from multiple choice in a drop-down list. Similarly, a Variable can also be a sub-formula. In this case clicking it will open up a formula dialog box.
Click LEARN MORE to open a new dialog box that shows the complete Value Driver formula. Any unlocked variables can be changed there. Note that formula may have multiple levels or sub-formulas indicated by a fx label, click the fx to expand the sub-formula.
Table pages
Sometimes Variables are organized in a Table format (see red outline below). To change the data, simply click on the field and input new value. Sometimes a Variable will be a Choice Variable where you select from multiple choice in a drop-down list. Similarly, a Variable can also be a sub-formula. In this case clicking it will open up a formula dialog box.
Special formatted pages
Some Value Proposition templates have special formatted pages that display Variables. Often these Variables can be changed by clicking on it. Below is an example. The red outline indicate variables that can be changed. The yellow outline indicates a Value Driver, clicking it will open the formula dialog like LEARN MORE.
Variables and Prices tabs
Most Value Proposition templates have tabs in the lower half. These contain all the detailed data related to the value calculations as well as other information. A sales user can change data in these tabs as well. The most common tabs are Variables tab (outlined in red) and Prices (outlined in yellow).
To change data in the Variables tab, simply click on the field in the Value column on right and enter new value. Gray fields indicates a sub-formula which will open a formula dialog. You can also filter the Variable list by clicking the Tags header.
Changing Prices works much the same way. You can change the Competitor Price or Offering Price by clicking on it.
